Your babies will be safe in our infant care program, for little ones from 6 weeks to 18 months. Young infants have their senses exercised in our thematic program that focuses on reading, music, movement, and sensory exploration. We also teach sign language for the communication of basic needs, and to enhance and support language development.
Toddler & Step-Up Classes
Our toddler and step-up classes are ideal for children ages 18 months through 30 months. This thematic program supports young childrens learning through hands-on sensory experiences reading time, music, and movement. We also use art to develop creative habits.
As your children develop, our curriculum changes to meet their needs. Our three-year-old class is appropriate for children 36 months to 4 years old. In this classroom, children are exposed to a more structured learning environment, and begin handwriting and very basic math skills.
Little Harvard is proud to be an extension site for the Newburgh School District's Universal Pre-K (UPK) program! Find out more about what that means by clicking here! Children who are 4 years old may enroll in Pre-K via the Newburgh Board of Education if you live in the Newburgh School District. Non-district children are also welcome! Before and After School Care
Once your children are between 5 and 12 years old, we offer before and after school programs. The before school program offers breakfast as well as art and thematic free play. After school, we offer an afternoon snack, homework assistance, and group games.
